Person Hauled Out Of Ravine In Manchester

MANCHESTER, CT — A person was rescued from a ravine after a fall in Manchester over the weekend, fire officials said.

Fire officials said the rescue took place after dark on Saturday in the Russell Street area.

The fall was down a steep hill and the person was lifted about 200 ft back up to the street level, fire officials said.

The person was transported to an area with what fire officials described as non life-threatening injuries.
