Pet Food And Supply Business Leaving Manchester Location
A pet food and supply business will continue to operate in South Windsor, but announced an abrupt move out of Manchester Thursday.

MANCHESTER, CT — The owners of the Leaps & Bones all-natural dog bakery made an abrupt announcement Thursday that the business is leaving its 35 Oakland Street location and will continue to operate in north central Connecticut out of South Windsor only.
"Due to Unforeseen Building issues, the Dog Barkery retail will be moving all sales to our Evergreen Walk location permanently," the owners said.
The move is effective at the close of business Friday, they said, and all non-food items in Manchester are 20 percent off Thursday and Friday, according to the announcement.

In early October 2022, the second Leaps location was opened on the lower level of the old CCC Feed and Farm Supplies location on Oakland Street in Manchester. The bakery was expanded by 600 square feet, and a retail storefront was also featured.
