Police: Manchester Women Tried To Use Stroller As Getaway Car in Vernon KMart Theft
They tried to steal several items, Vernon police said.

VERNON, CT. - Two sisters from Manchester have court dates to explain to a judge why they tried to steal merchandise from the Vernon KMart by stuffing the stuff inside a stroller while in the store with two young children, police said.
Jasmine Cabassa, 21, and Jessica Cabassa, 19, of 42 Cedar St., Mancheter, were charged with 5th-degree larceny for their antics, police said. The items were worth "hundreds of dollars," police said.
Because the children were with them, the Cabassas were also charged with risk of injury to a minor, police said.
