Beach Boys Tribute Band Selling Quickly

MANCHESTER, CONNECTICUT – Little Theatre of Manchester at Cheney Hall will present the East Coast’s number one Beach Boys tribute band, The Driftwoods, on Friday, July 8, 2016, at 8 pm.
“Tickets are moving fast, so we’re encouraging the public to act quickly. They are not going to want to miss this feel-good, summertime concert,” said Dwayne Harris, Executive Director, Little Theatre or Manchester.
Celebrating the 50th anniversary of Pet Sounds, The Driftwoods will perform songs like “Wouldn’t It Be Nice” and “God Only Knows,” as well as other Beach Boy favorites, including “Good Vibrations.”

About the Driftwoods
The Driftwoods, Rhode Island’s longest-running active rock act, are still going strong adding new fans with each new performance. In 2013, The Driftwoods teamed up with famous NY record producer Alan Lorber, whose long list of credits includes The Luvin’ Spoonful, Jackie Wilson, Neil Sedaka, and Orpheus. Lorber has done post-production on the group’s new CD Bamboo Bedroom and released the recordings on two new CDs as part of his Iris Music Group label. About Little Theatre of Manchester at Cheney Hall
The Little Theatre of Manchester (LTM) was founded in 1960 for the purpose of producing community theater. Since its inception, LTM’s volunteers have put on more than 650 quality performances that have been well-received and applauded by various members of the community. In the 1980s, the Little Theatre worked with the Town of Manchester in restoring Cheney Hall. In 1991, the extensive, award-winning restoration was completed and the state's oldest operating theater became the theatrical residence of the Little Theatre of Manchester. Today, programming is comprised of five main-stage theatre productions, numerous concerts, special events, and a range of other cultural, business, civic, and private functions. The Little Theatre is proud to serve a growing, annual audience of approximately 10,000.
