“Property Taxes, Flood Insurance, Homeowners Insurance and Mortgage Insurance”

When I see property taxes and all the insurances, higher than principal and interest, it is hard for me to adjust to the math, but that is exactly what Brenda is facing. Principal and interest is  $902 and everything else is $981.

This one just isn’t supposed to happen, but it does when you have a $3400 a year flood insurance and $6400  in property taxes. This was the perfect storm, a high tax town and the property backs up to a brook and lots of wetlands on 2 acres.

Brenda wanted this home, no matter what, so it wasn’t for me to judge. She told me, she will never sell this property, but I have heard this kind of statement before.
