“A Qualified Home Buyer by Next Month”
Here is the update Joe, as of tomorrow the credit card balance is paid in full, the cox cable one is processing and the medical collections will be processed by Tuesday and the lady said she deleted it from all the credit bureau's systems so it will never show up even as paid on a credit check after it processes. Also, all the disputes will be off our credit report by next week.
This couple was referred by their Realtor. They were under contract to purchase a home but were denied a few days before closing. This mortgage application should never have been taken, it was DOA.
Once I gave the clients a clear understanding about what they need to do to get pre-qualified, they were on a mission. Unfortunately they had been going to a credit repair company and had been paying them $100 per month for nearly a year. They were supposed to fix everything, which did not happen, they actually made things worse.
These folks ended up with 6 disputed items on their report. You can’t get a mortgage with open disputes on your credit report.
A creditor doesn’t remove items if the debt is still owed no matter how much you pay a credit repair company.
