Rep. Tweedie Listens to Constituent Concerns
Held coffee hours in Manchester and Glastonbury.

HARTFORD – During the months of March and April, State Representative Mark Tweedie (R-13) held three coffee hours in both Glastonbury and Manchester. At each event he spoke with constituents and heard their concerns and ideas in regards to this session’s important issues impacting the communities of Connecticut’s 13th House District.
“I really appreciate these opportunities to have one-on-one conversations with my constituents,” said Rep. Tweedie. “Sharing your opinions and needs helps me represent our towns to the best of my ability. I recognize where changes need to happen in our government; taxpayer dollars are being spent irresponsibly, and I share your frustration. We need bipartisan cooperation in Hartford to make good decisions that support our teachers, retirees, healthcare practitioners, homeowners, and many more. I look forward to fighting for such policies throughout the remainder of session.”
Constituents brought Rep. Tweedie’s attention to the challenges that burdensome taxes are placing on seniors, housing issues, opioid addiction, obstinate adoption policies and unfunded mandates on schools. Follow Rep.
