Home Inspections

“A Requirement NO, but Good Common Sense to have”

I think the place is in good working order for now and needs some attention but nothing that is immediate.
Does a conventional loan mean a person has to have well, septic, and home inspections?
Thanks, Ruth

I
always get concerned when someone asks me if home inspections are
necessary. These questions are being asked because the property is a
short sale and being sold in “AS IS Condition”. I am always going to
recommend that inspections are done. Sure it may be a “good buy”
however, will it be such a good buy if a septic system or well needs to
be replaced? How about a roof or furnace?

Spending
the money for inspections is a good investment. I always tell my
clients there are normally reasons that someone is recommending against
doing inspections.
