Residents Rescued From Manchester Condo Fire

MANCHESTER, CT — Residents of a condo complex in Manchester were rescued from a unit after a kitchen fire broke out, authorities said.

At 5:12 p.m Saturday, Manchester fire crews were dispatched to 22 Prospect St. for report of a structure fire.

That's the Millbridge Hollow condominium complex.

When they arrived at the scene, firefighters saw smoke showing from a unit and two occupants in need of rescue, officials said.

They were puled to safety via ground ladders and the kitchen fire was located and quickly extinguished, officials said.

No injuries were reported.
