Retired Cop Car Spins, Crashes On Snowy Highway In Manchester
A former police car now privately owned was in a snowy crash in Manchester to begin the new year, state police said.

MANCHESTER, CT — The New Year's Day morn ing snowfall was blamed for a highway crash in Manchester, state police said.
The crash took place at 7:39 a.m. on the eastbound side of Interstate 84.
According to a crash report, a 2022 Toyota Tacoma with a 21-year-old Vernon woman driving, was in the center lane and a 2014 Chevrolet Impala police edition sedan now owned by a 44-year-old Vernon man was in the right lane.

The Impala began to spin as the driver was merging into the center lane and the Toyota hit it during the mishap, according to a crash report.
No one was hurt and the Impala driver was cited for traveling too fast for condition.
