“Robert, there goes our Mortgage Guy”

I could hear her from across the store and at first got embarrassed. First, she was very loud and second, I didn’t remember them for a few moments. She identified herself and at that point, I remembered them. I can still remember how difficult it was at the time to get the loan.

We were reminiscing about the challenges we had faced, but speaking loud enough for many in the store to hear what they were saying. I guess it was being at the right place at the right time. This guy walked up and asked if I had a business card. Within a few moments this other person was now involved in the conversation and talking about how she had just been denied for a mortgage.

The entire time these past clients were singing my praises and told this visitor to the conversation, “Trust in Joe”. I gave both of them a hug and wished them a Merry Christmas. Then they said they are always thankful this time of year and that they closed on their new home 12/24/2007 and we read your emails you send each month.
