The SBM Charitable Foundation (“SBMCF”) awarded ninety-five (95) college scholarships totaling $250,000 in June 2025. Twenty-nine (29) students are new award recipients, while sixty-six (66) awards represent scholarship renewals with six (6) of those students attending Graduate School. The SBM Scholarship Program began in 1996 and is available to students who will be attending accredited colleges and universities in Connecticut, and who also live in Hartford, Tolland, or Windham counties. SBMCF Scholarships are renewable each year of a student's college career as long as they continue to meet the initial eligibility requirements. Between the years of 2004 and 2025, $4,419,200.00 was awarded to a total of 2244 scholars.
