The Silk City Chorus Brings Together Voices and Wines
The Chorus Will Serve and Entertain at Historic Cheney Hall

The renowned Silk City Barbershop Chorus continues its 53ed season with a spectacular evening of wine tasting, food and entertainment on Saturday, May 14th at Manchester’s historic Cheney Hall. Seatings are 5:00 PM and 7:30 PM.
Cheney Hall will come to life with this special performance titled “Voices and Vino!” The chorus will entertain as our patrons enjoy a wonderful sampling of fine wines, carefully paired with outstanding light fare prepared by renowned chef Dotti Cannon.
Chef Cannon is the award winning principal of Brown Sugar Catering, a fixture of the Manchester food scene since 2005.

The 4 course wine tasting will take our patrons on a journey to Washington State, France and Argentina, where each of the exceptional wine selections originate.
The chorus will entertain throughout with exciting selections such as Sweet Pea, Teddy Bear, You Can Count On Me and many others.

In addition to the host chorus performance, patrons will also be entertained by several quartets comprised of chorus members who will travel the hall to provide personal entertainment.
Cheney Hall is the oldest operating theater in Connecticut, built in 1867 for the Cheney Silk Company. After 50 long years out of the cultural mainstream, the hall was restored and regained its role as a cultural gem, and today serves as a historic landmark in Manchester, CT.
All seating for both performances is reserved for your convenience and comfort. Advance seating prices are $75.00 for individual tickets, $280.00 for groups of four and $480.00 for groups of eight. Cheney Hall is located at 177 Hartford Road, Manchester, CT 06040. Doors open 30 minutes before each performance. Parking is free. The facility is handicap accessible.
