The Silk City Chorus will hold a Guest Night/Open House on Monday, May 16, 2016 from 7:00PM to 10:00PM. The event will take place at our rehearsal hall at the Second Congregational Church, 385 North Main St, Manchester, CT 06042. The chorus invites all men in the greater Manchester community who LOVE TO SING to stop by. Prior musical training is not required.
Directed by Todd Lamson, the Silk City Chorus recently celebrated its 50th year of providing a cappella music in Manchester and surrounding towns. The chorus ranks as one of the premier groups in the Barbershop Harmony Society with a membership of nearly 65 men. We are a musical organization committed to continuously improving our performances and music skills while sharing memorable and enjoyable experiences.
