Snow Day For Schools, Parking Ban Issued In Manchester
The parking ban took effect at 8 p.m. Monday.

MANCHESTER, CT — Classes have been canceled at Manchester public schools and a parking ban on public streets because of Tuesday's snow forecast.
The parking ban took effect at 8 p.m. Monday and will run until 8 p.m. Tuesday. No vehicles are permitted to be parked on roadways to give Public Works crews room to work efficiently and safely while plowing.
Vehicles that remain on roadway during the parking ban may be subject to fines or towed at the owner's expense, police said.
