Soup Party to Benefit MACC Charities

Soroptimist International of the Greater Hartford is bringing the community together with food, fun, and community outreach.

Great food, great music, and a great cause. You can find all this and so much more at the Army Navy Club in Manchester on March 5th.

The Soroptimist International of Greater Hartford is hosting a Soup Party to raise money for the Manchester Area Conference of Churches (MACC). Soroptimist International of Greater Hartford is an organization that has been an active member of the greater Hartford community for 80 years supporting the empowerment of woman and girls.

With the help of several local businesses and entertainment groups, this organization is hosting the event from 1pm – 4pm to raise both funds and non-perishables to support MACC ‘s contribution to the community.

With an impressive accumulation of over $7000 raised and over 600 people attended, this is the 6th year Soroptimist International of Greater Hartford will be hosting the Soup Party. This year the club is focusing on beating previous year’s earnings by focusing on cash and gift card donations because they have found MACC benefits most from these contributions

Talent will include 2015 semifinalist on ABC’s The Voice and CT native, Braiden Sunshine. At the party you’ll also find KC Beauregard and The Golden Harp Irish Step Dancers to name a few. Local restaurant favorites such as, Adam’s Mill, Center Perk, and Manchester Pizza will provide food.

Make sure to make you’re way down to 1090 Main Street, Manchester between the times of 1pm to 4pm on Sunday March 5th to make any contribution to an important local organization and enjoy an afternoon filled with the best talent and cuisine our community has to offer.
