St. Mary’s Church, Manchester – Building a Wall to end Hunger
Ending hunger and eliminating extreme poverty.
The building began in mid-February and it is growing. Throughout the season of Lent, St. Mary’s Episcopal Church at 41 Park Street will be collecting non-perishable food items and paper goods for the MACC Community Pantry and personal hygiene items for Bennet Academy in Manchester.
Our mission is to do our part in to end hunger and eliminate extreme poverty. Donations to support MACC and Bennet are welcomed as we are seeking pasta& sauce, cereal, juice, tuna, condiments, canned fruits & veggies, mac & cheese, paper products, soap, cleaning products, laundry detergent, diapers, baby food & formula. We also encourage donations of personal hygiene items like deodorant, razors & shaving cream, toothpaste & brushes, and feminine hygiene products.

On Palm Sunday, March 25th, the wall will be dismantled and parishioners will deliver the donations to MACC and Bennet.
