St. Mary's Episcopal Church presents Judy Handler and Mark Levesque "Rhythms of the World: International Music for Guitar and
international musical concert, Brazilian, Latin, jazz, gypsy and folk music

The highly acclaimed musical duo of Judy Handler and Mark Levesque will present a concert of international music for guitars and mandolin on Saturday, April 23, at 7 p.m. at St. Mary’ Episcopal Church, 41 Park Street, Manchester CT. The concert is free and open to the public.
This “Rhythms of the World,” the concert features passionate and lyrical music from around the globe for guitars and mandolin. The Connecticut-based husband and wife duo of Handler and Levesque blend classical, Brazilian, Latin, jazz, gypsy and folk music influences to create their unique, expressive arrangements. Audiences respond with great enthusiasm to their extraordinary sound, amusing anecdotes and the joyful spirit of their music.
Included on the program will be music from Latin America, Europe, Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Judy and Mark have performed over 2,000 concerts together throughout the United States and Europe, including at Eurofest 2014 in Bruchsal, Germany; the English Church in Amsterdam, the Netherlands; the Classical Mandolin Society of America’s Convention 2014 in Portland, Oregon; the Caramoor Center for Music & Arts; and Autorino Hall at the Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts.
