State of Ct. Citizen vs. State of Ct. Newer, Better, Easier Pothole Repair and Aftermath!

Anybody else lucky enough to be driving 384 today?! And were you lucky enough to be the recipient of damage to your vehicle thanks to the DOT Pot Hole repair Brigade?.....Who apparently now repair Potholes with GRAVEL AND DIRT!!!!
I would like to thank the Dept. for the damage to my vehicle courtesy of said repairs to potholes between exits 1 & 2 as I headed for Exit 3 downtown Manchester. The re...pairs leave a good amount of loose gravel which then take flight and land in all the wrong places.....Like the windshield of my car.
Now that we have the 'what', We must file a claim with the DOT, who are unable to answer the phone after 4 P.M......because they have left for the day. Is there an easy access claim form you ask?......THAT WOULD BE A BIG FAT 'NO!!!' There is only a long winded bunch of rules and a list of what to submit....in writing within 90 days. As though I need 90 days! The cracks and pitting in the windshield weren't there at 3:30 P.M. today......They were there at 3:51 P.M. today, Monday March 24th. They will have my claim Tuesday March 25th........90 days! Wait until April 1st and I can just imagine the State of Ct. DOT Lawyer who would spend 3 hours explaining how it wasn't their fault but mine......because if it wasn't, I never would have waited 90 days! Sorry State of Ct DOT Lawyer.....It was your gravel and sand mixture! Dreamed up by some State of Ct DOT Engineer as a new, Better.....(State of Ct Citizen definition: CHEAPER!)....Yes. Better. You Know, Like the new, better crap spread all over the road which melts snow into ice, eats pavement and rusts cars at a NEW, BETTER, RAPID rate not seen since Malloy and his buddies started raising taxes! A speed not seen since Malloy's budget savings became a deficit. I wonder if Malloy will help me get my claim settled and the damages repaired. No he won't because doing so would cost the state a windshield and maybe even some paint.
So I am going to start my claim process so I can have the repairs done in time for next years State of Ct DOT Engineers NEWER, BETTER, EASIER WAY OF DAMAGING OTHER STATE OF CT CITIZENS VEHICLES.
Thank You State of Ct....In advance, for the labor intensive hoop jumping I will need to do to get what I have coming to me for daring to drive the roads of Ct in Spring.
