State Sen. MD Rahman Accepts Unanimous Democratic Endorsement
No primary is expected.

MANCHESTER, CT — Democratic State Sen. MD Rahman Monday accepted his party’s unanimous endorsement for a third term in the 4th District.
"When I came to this country, I never dreamed I would one day be a state senator," Rahman said. "But the people of our district gave me the opportunity to serve this great state. For that, and for this chance to continue serving, I will forever be grateful. From my first job as a waiter, to my time now fighting for you and for all the hardworking families of Connecticut, I have never forgotten the values that form the foundation of this country. I"m excited to continue the hard work of making sure everyone has their shot at the American dream."
Rahman was first elected to the 4th Senate District in 2022. The district represents Andover, Bolton, Manchester and Glastonbury.

"Highlights of MD's recently concluded legislative session include bills to unmask I.C.E. agents, protect our schools & places of worship from federal agents, reverse the hundreds of millions in Trump cuts to food assistance & healthcare, and protect our healthcare system from predatory private equity," his campaign said.
