Student Inventors, Scientists Ready For Manchester Convention

Student inventors and scientists are ready for Manchester's annual convention.

MANCHESTER, CT — Manchester’s young scientists will present their inventions and discoveries at the eighth-annual Science Fair and Invention Convention sponsored by Manchester Public Schools and the Manchester Townwide PTAs.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, March 30, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Manchester High School.

Nearly 100 kindergarten through 12th grade students from local school s are expected to participate in the fair.

During the current school year, the young inventors and explorers participated in their school science fairs and have been selected as finalists to display their projects to judges and
share their newfound knowledge with the community.

The event is open to the public.

The districtwide invention convention finalists will move on to the next level of competition and take part in the Connecticut Invention Convention State Finals on May 4, at the University of Connecticut.
