Suspected Narcotics Dealer Nabbed in Manchester

A man who police said had been selling narcotics in downtown Manchester has been arrested.

MANCHESTER, CT — A suspected drug dealer who police were tacking in downtown Manchester has been arrested.

On Friday, members of the East Central Narcotics Task Force, conducted a buy-bust operation in Manchester, according to a report. Task force members had received information that a man — identified as Reynaldo Seda — has been selling heroin and fentanyl in Manchester, according to a report.

Seda, 30, was then found selling fentanyl along Main Street in downtown Manchester, police said.

Seda had also sold fentanyl to an undercover officer on multiple occasions so police were in possession of five arrest warrants for him, according to a report.

At the time of Seda’s arrest on Friday, he had 20 bags of fentanyl in his pocket, police said.

A search of Seda’s residence at 24 Trotter St. produced another 50 bags of fentanyl, packaged for sale, according to a report.

Also seized during the raid was an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

Seda was charged with:

  • Possession of heroin
  • Possession of heroin with the intent to sell
  • Possession of drugs within 1,500 feet of a school zone
  • Possession of drugs with intent to sell within 1500’ of a school zone

The five arrest warrants featured the same charges, police said.

Seda was held on a total of $700,000 in bonds.
