Teen Charged After Knife Incident at Manchester High School
The boy was involved in an altercation, police said.

MANCHESTER, CT — A 15-year-old student at Manchester High School is facing criminal charges for a knife incident at the school, police said.
On Friday at noon, Manchester police school resource officers assigned to Manchester High School investigated a verbal altercation between two students, police said.
The incident had been witnessed by several other students who reported seeing one of them holding a knife at his side during the argument, police said.

The SROs did find a pocket knife on a boy involved in the altercation, police said.
There were no injuries during the incident.

The 15 year old student was arrested and charged with having a weapon on school grounds, second-degree breach of peace, second-degree threatening and carrying a dangerous weapon, police said.
