“The Drowsy Chaperone” to Be Performed at KO’s Roberts Theater, Mar. 1 & 2

“The Drowsy Chaperone,” a Tony Award-winning parody of American musical comedy of the 1920s, is coming to Kingswood Oxford’s Roberts Theater on Mar. 1 at 8pm and Mar. 2 at 2pm. Tickets are available at the door.

Directed by KO’s Josh Feder and Rebecca Urrutia, this “show within a show” is about a modern musical theater addict who tries to chase his blues away by repeatedly playing the record from the 1928 Broadway musical, “The Drowsy Chaperone.”

It opened on Broadway in May 2006 and soon after won the Tony Awards for Best Book and Best Score.
