The Keystone Pipeline Key

The Keystone Pipeline is a huge 'key' to the future of our Country. I would encourage EVERYBODY to contact their Senators and Representatives. Tell them if they want a chance at continuing in their present positions they should help to bypass the Obama Administration and tell Canada, "We're In!" and start building the Keystone Pipeline.
The United States could wash it's hands of the Middle East and quickly become Energy Independent by building the Keystone Pipeline and utilizing our other energy resources. Not only would we create much needed jobs; We could eliminate the need to being held hostage by the whims of petty dictators and OPEC on a regular basis and being dragged into every armed conflict that takes place! We would not need to send our Military Men and Woman to protect people that take our cash with big smiles then turn their guns on us at night!
Crafting a sane Energy Policy of 'All In', combining Clean Coal, Solar, Domestic Oil Drilling, Wind, Natural Gas, Nuclear and the Pipeline is the most intelligent way to go, Period. President Obama and his people are just not on board when it comes to doing what is best for OUR Country now and into the future.
The United States is at a crucial 'Tipping Point'. What we do now will create ripples for decades. Our 'Energy Policy' will determine how many Military lives are put at risk for Countries full of people who will hate us. It will determine whether the United States moves forward as a Leader in the World or becomes a follower.
I believe we would have the upper hand with Russia regarding Ukraine, and Europe, had the Keystone Pipeline been approved years ago. Many Countries in Europe are over a barrel, A Russian barrel. Because they need Russian 'fuels', They have an added worry regarding support for Ukraine. They must worry that Russian aggression in the form of withholding needed winter heating fuels. Had Obama approved the Keystone early in his first term. The building and completion of that pipeline might worry Putin and mother Russian leaders far more than it clearly does as things now stand.
The Environmental concerns have been addressed. Continuously redressing those concerns so that President Obama can pretend his decision to regularly delay the building of such an obvious slam dunk for the country, jobs and energy independence is unconscionable when so much rides on this one decision. Five major studies support the building of the Keystone Pipeline. Democrats in Congress support going forward. For Five Years, Obama has gone out of his way to block what amounts to a 'No Brainer' with Thousands of jobs, Many of them High Paying, and Billions of dollars at stake.
So again: I encourage every American to call their Senators and Representatives and insist that reach across Party lines, Take their power in supporting numbers, remove the blockading Obama and his Administration and bring the Keystone Pipeline to fruition. With the sad jobs numbers, In particular the number of people who have given up looking for a job, and the growth of our economy on life support, Most Leaders would hit the ground running on the pipeline. Obama seems less interested in doing what's right and allowing his party to be hijacked by rich donors offering large donations in exchange for the blocking of a coherent Energy Policy.
When all is said and done, The President has abandoned reason and thousands of jobs for purely political reasons. Reasons many of his fellow Democrats cannot understand. It is shameful and damaging to a Country in need of everything the Keystone Pipeline could bring with it to an energy policy that seems aimless and meandering. We have thrown enough money at Companies which went quickly out of business. It is time to fix the mess. Get the pipeline going and use every other fuel we have, All of which are advantages for our Country, our economy and our people in need of jobs.
