As a Conservative......One who actually votes, I have to say; Rand Paul is not a Conservative, Republican, Libertarian, Tea Party...Second coming of the Pauls....well, actually....He is the second coming of the Pauls. However, He isn't the Messiah. He will not stop the seas from Rising, and presumably,
He won't be parting the Atlantic and leading us all to safety by crashing the afore to mentioned Seas down on the Liberal Army trying to chase us down and force us to buy 'Obamacare' with policies that force Men to have Gynecological coverage! Insurance.
.......I mean, that would just be crazy......what?.........they do? UUuhm....Err ahm: It seems I need to qualify my statement...Men do have to have and Gynecological coverage. Hey, Living is Learning!

Rand Paul seems like a good Guy. Like many good guys he made his way to Washington D.C. with the best of intentions and he may someday be worthy of my vote where the presidency is concerned. But that will not be 2016. Why you ask? I will try to help you follow my thinking. Experience, PERIOD! .....OH, and HYPOCRACY,....now, PERIOD!
Rand Paul hasn't the experience to have earned my vote for the Presidency. I cannot and won't give my Vote to Rand Paul for the same reason I could not have, were I a Democrat, voted for Barrack Obama. Paul is relatively 'new' to the Political Arena. He is a pretty good talker. Obama was relatively 'new' to the Political Arena. He is a pretty good talker as well. I don't believe being a great orator results in being a great, or even sub par, president. One clearly does not guarantee the other. When I enter my vote, nowhere, to date, is there a line for: (1-A) Tele Prompter- Democrat....... Certainly not for Republicans, Independents or Tea Party Candidates. Although, Maybe in hindsight, Which is always 20/20, that is how our current President was elected. Hey, there was an opening so I took the spot. I am just saying nobody, Not rand Paul or Ted Cruz gets my vote just because they are the flavor of the month. I need substance. I need to know my choice didn't just get lucky and fool folks into the Big Chair.
Case in point, Pres. Obama. Talked a great game, good looking guy, smart and, Yes- He was to be the first Black President. A bell weather moment. A chance to prove how far we have come. In 2008 I saw how proud African Americans were just to have the chance to see what many thought would never happen in their lifetimes. I felt the passion and I was proud our country had gotten to the place it was time for it to be...Colorblind. That said, I didn't vote for him. I took him at his word and I could not vote for someone so far left of what I believe. Sadly many people couldn't see past the great oration. They couldn't see that his 'oration' was less than splendid with out his constant companion, the teleprompter, which he used in some backyards....hint, hint.
Now we are in the second term. Things were crumbling in his first. After the second, we found out about just how truly awful Obama is as president. He and his minions lied their way to the 2nd term, withholding crucial info that might have brought voters back to earth.
World Leaders have a low opinion of him. Their lack of respect is dangerously obvious. Putin seems hell bent on bringing back some version of the USSR. The Terrorists are back to aiming their fervor more and more in our direction. Some really scary people, ISIS, are hell bent on taking back every inch of Iraq. They are crucifying and beheading those who don't follow the program as seen by ISIS. These common killers are intent on enforcing Sharia Law and are of a belief that they can remove borderlines and bring to fruition a Caliphate. These guys heard Pres. Obama announce the retreat of ALL U.S. Military personnel. They waited and have been slowly retaking the space we once occupied. ISIS has made it clear, we, Americans, are next.
Obama and his moronic minions and advisors only just recently traded 5 High Value Taliban leaders for Bowe 'I am a Deserter' Berdahl.
A decorated Marine has been left to rot in a Mexican Prison, WHY? Save Berdahl, who served without distinction and deserted, WHY?!
Our Border is being over run by Illegals Aliens, Children being sent alone. Illegal Aliens are taking bus trips all over the Country: They are told to report to Immigration Offices when they get....well, wherever they are ending up. Our Border Agents are babysitting, and having to leave the patrols undone because they are overwhelmed and undermanned. All courtesy Obama. These poor people are coming because they believe when they get here they get amnesty. It didn't work for President Reagan and it won't work now.
This country is buried in scandals, lies and people told NOT to do THEIR JOBS! (see Border Patrol!!). IRS, Border Agent Killed, Obamacare and on and on and on!!!
And the President is off to the Golf Course. Don't worry, there will be a Commission and a study and when that doesn't work, Obama can, and will, Blame President Bush. This is not just sad, It is dangerous. And it doesn't bode well for Rand Paul, Nor should it. We cannot elect every new face to office without serious discussion and debate. Voting, Your Vote is sacred and worthy of deep reflection and homework. I hope you will do it, then vote for the best Candidate for the job.
