“Time to Stop Paying $3,000 a Month for Rent”

How
have you been? It has been a while since we have spoken. I hope all is
well with you and the family. I was wondering if you can do a
pre-qualification for a mortgage again. It is time for my family to be
in our own home this year. I am paying too much for rent at this time.

The
thought of someone paying $3,000 a month for rent is just plain crazy
especially when they can own. His credit history consists of payments on
over $300,000 in student loans so he can’t get the best interest rate.
His mortgage payment would be about the same as his rent, but a lot more
deductions on a tax return.
He did tell me that last year he and his wife looked at over 30 properties. Hopefully that will not be the case this year.
