MANCHESTER, CT — A new $5 CT Lottery scratch game created in partnership with the University of Connecticut has yielded a top prize winner of $50,000 on a ticket purchased in Manchester.

The winner, a Hartford resident who opted to remain anonymous, purchased the lucky Husky Hoops ticket at the Z Mart on Oakland Street. The winnings were claimed on Valentine's Day, according to the CT Lottery website.

The CT Lottery posts winners of $10,000 or more as public record.
