Truck Crosses Both Sides of I-84, Crashes in Manchester

MANCHESTER, CT — A tractor-trailer barreled across \just about every inch of Interstate-84 early Thursday near Exit 64 before crashing on the side of the highway, state police.

The driver, 65-year-old Lynn Boozel of McVeytown, PA, was not injured, but the trucks was wrecked, state police said.

She was driving her Kenworth on I-84 westbound about a mile west of Exit 64 at 3:20 a.m., state police said. The truck suddenly veered across all the westbound lanes, traveled through the grassy center median and then across all the eastbound lanes, state police said.

She was cited for a lane violation, state police said.

Traffic was light at the time and no other vehicles were involved, state police said.
