Truck Overturns On I-84 In Manchester Friday Morning

MANCHESTER, CT — A tractor-trailer overturned on a stretch of Interstate 84 in Manchester at the peak of the Friday morning commute.

Connecticut Department of Transportation officials reported the crash at 7:56 a.m.

The truck could be seen laying on its side on the westbound side of the highway between exits 60 and 61. It appeared to have spun 180 degrees.

Firefighters were at the scene and state police had the right two lanes were closed. The highway was fully open in time for the afternoon commute.

There was no immediate word on injuries.
