Vernon Cops: Manchester Woman Caught Trying to Take a Phone and Snacks From K-Mart
She is due in court next week, police said.

VERNON, CT - A Manchester woman has a date in court next week to explain her recent shenanigans at the local K-Mart.
At 2:52 p.m. on July 19, staffers at the Vernon K-Mart observed 35-year-old Ethel Williams-Texidore, of Manchester, trying to conceal items in an effort to take them out of the store, police said. Police said they were a cell phone, Gatorade and a bag of candy that added up to $107.
Williams-Texidore admitted she was trying to steal them, according to a police report.

She was charged with sixth-degree larceny, police said.
