Warrant Offers Details Of Manchester Commuter Lot Homicide
State police released the details of a fatal shooting in a Manchester Parking lot.

MANCHESTER, CT — A warrant released by state police details the trail from Springfield to Manchester that led to the fatal shootings of two people in a Buckland Hills commuter lot in August.
State police have jurisdiction in the case because it is a Department of Transportation lot. They charged 21-year-old Gregory Crichlow of Springfield with two counts of murder Saturday after a traffic stop in Hartford. Crichlow was held on a $2 million bond over the weekend, and is slated to be arraigned Monday in Hartford Superior Court.
The shooting took place at 1:50 a.m. Aug. 2 at the DOT commuter lot at Buckland Street and Pleasant Valley Road in Manchester as between 100 and 200 people gathered for what was described in a warrant as a "racing" event. Racing events are typically used to show off aftermarket modifications to vehicles, polices said.

Jennifer Hicks, 20, and Gregory Scott, 24, both of Massachusetts, were shot as they sat inside a Jeep Wrangler in the commuter lot during the event, which originated in Springfield and traveled to Manchester, a warrant states.
Each was later pronounced dead at St. Francis and Hartford hospitals, respectively.

Crichlow was identified in a warrant as a member of a gang called the "Knox Street Posse." Scott belonged to a rival gang known as the "Sycamore Street Posse" and the groups have a "notorious history of retaliatory violence" with each other, according to a warrant.
Vehicles involved in the gathering were seen in surveillance images at gas stations near the MGM casino in Springfield and near the Manchester commuter lot, according to a warrant.
The two primary vehicles were the Jeep and a truck carrying Crichlow, according to a warrant.
Scott was seated in the driver's seat and Hicks in the rear of the Jeep and the Jeep's owner was in the front passenger seat. About two minutes after the Jeep pulled into the Manchester lot, a truck followed, according to a warrant.
The driver's side window was open on the Jeep and a gunman exited the truck, reached inside the Jeep and shot five rounds, according to a warrant.
Facebook exchanges between the groups had escalated over the weeks leading up to the shooting, investigators said in a warrant. Investigators said that Crichlow's exchanges as "Steel Gunna" proved, in part, intent to harm others.
