Water Main Work Could Cause Traffic Delays In Manchester

MANCHESTER, CT — Water main work began Monday in a section of central Manchester.

The work zone is located on Hazel Street near the intersection of Main Street.

Construction is slated for the evening and overnight hours to minimize water service disruptions to the nearby businesses, officials said.

Motorists should expect minor traffic delays and some closures on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday while construction is active, officials said.
