Weather, Water Issues Boil Up to No School at East Catholic on Monday

School was called off while officials addressed heating and water issues at East Catholic.

MANCHESTER, CT — East Catholic High School was closed Monday because of water and boiler issues, school officials said in an alert to parents.

The building was without heat and there was a water leak in the cafeteria, school officials said in an alert to parents.

The school had already posted a 90-minute delay because a wintry mix of precipitation.
