“What is Wrong with my Credit?”

Is it just plain stupidity? A Realtor recently referred a potential client, she had indicated that she went to “her” bank for a mortgage, but they couldn’t help her. I asked her about her credit and she told me she didn’t understand the credit report she had been given, so I asked her to get it to me so that I could review it, which she did. I told her I would call her once I reviewed it.

The credit report was one of the worst I had ever seen. She never paid anything, I mean nothing. I called her and asked her why she felt that she deserved a mortgage? She said she didn’t understand my questions. I told her based on the credit report, she should never own a home. CLICK

I will do everything within my power to accomplish the American dream for anyone that wants to own a home, but when someone just doesn’t respect what it takes, then I’m not the one to help them.

Sure, life happens and credit may have been a problem, but it can be repaired, but someone needs to be committed to doing the hard work to correcting issues before home ownership should be a possibility.
