“When Clients Move to States I am Not Licensed”

Hi Joe -
So, just to update you as to what we're thinking.
We have been searching for a home in another State (for many reasons). The State of CT has not been kind to us, on a business level, for many years.
There are beautiful properties with 10+ acres in WI for the same price range, if not a little bit less than what we can sell our house.
So, long story short. We are putting our efforts forward to pursue that venture, of purchasing a “farmette” in WI.
We have been pre-approved by three lenders so far, based on our credit scores. We have hit a snag regarding reported income on the personal tax returns which we know you would figure out in no time, as you have for us many times.
My question to you is, and I know that you are licensed in a number of States, but are you able to take any role in this pursuit with us? Or are you definitely not able because of the location of the property being it is WI?
I appreciate your time you have invested over the years. I'm just trying to figure a way whereby this whole process isn't a total loss for you.
One more thing, can you get me a referral for a real estate agent to sell our home.
Please let me know.
Thanks!
Tammie

It didn’t take me long to refer Tammie and her husband to a mortgage broker in Wisconsin. I explained some history about the clients to the broker and the best way to handle their tax returns, as they are extremely complicated but someone that knows their stuff would be able to figure things out pretty quickly.

They have now been in contact with one another and they are well on their way to owning a home in a state that I am not licensed.

WHO ELSE DO YOU KNOW THAT NEEDS MY HELP?
