Winter Storm Warning Issued For Hartford, Tolland Counties
The National Weather Service has just issued a warning for the area.

The National Weather Service has just issued a Winter Storm Warning for Hartford, Tolland and Windham counties. The warning is in effect from 4 p.m. to 7 a.m. Friday.
The weather service says, "Heavy snow followed by a mixture of sleet and freezing rain. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 7 inches and ice accumulations of around one tenth of an inch expected.
WHERE...Hartford CT, Tolland CT and Windham CT Counties.

WHEN...From 4 PM this afternoon to 7 AM EST Friday.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS...High impact to the evening rush hour. Travel will be quite difficult with 1 to 2 inch per hour snowfall rates this evening. Snow will change to sleet and freezing rain late this evening and perhaps all rain after midnight.
