A narcotics taskforce arrested her Wednesday.

According to police, taskforce officers had developed information that a prostitute named “Vanessa” was posting advertisements soliciting customers to engage in prostitution in the local area. “Vanessa” has been engaged in illegal prostitution/narcotic activity for a few months in the Manchester/Vernon area. Taskforce officers initiated an investigation and set up a buy bust operation.
Taskforce officers arranged to meet with the prostitute “Vanessa” who offered to provide an undercover officer with an hour’s worth of sex in exchange for cash. Once the officer met with “Vanessa” to discuss/commit the particulars of their arrangements, Taskforce officers moved in and placed her under arrest.
