Woman Charged In Memorial Day Stabbing in Manchester

A 27-year-old woman is facing criminal charges after a Memorial Day stabbing incident in Manchester, police said.

MANCHESTER, CT — A 27-year-old woman is facing criminal charges after a Memorial Day stabbing incident in Manchester, police said.

The incident took place at an apartment at 2 Thompson Road, police said. A 911 call indicated a man had been stabbed, and when police arrived, they found him bleeding from a wound to the left wrist, according to a report.

The man was taken to Manchester Memorial Hospital, police said.

Meanwhile, a suspect, Cynthia Jiminez-Pacheco, was quickly located and taken into custody, according to a report. She is accused of grabbing a knife during an altercation and slashing him, according to a report.

She was being held in a $250,000 bond and was to appear in court Monday, according to a report.
