“You Got Me a Mortgage, When No One Would Talk to Me”

As I heard these words, I immediately thought, no one else was crazy enough to have taken on a credit report that had a dozen outstanding IRS obligation, but because it was IRS, I decided to take it on.

There is something about someone telling me that he doesn’t owe IRS any money and they have a credit report filled with bad information, well it just doesn’t sit well with me. The credit report was a mess. I got his accountant and attorney involved. It was very obvious this was going to take time and we would need both of these professionals to help with the process.

18 months later, all the IRS obligations showed as paid, his refinance was completed. Now three years later I just prequalified him for a new mortgage, his mid score was 734. He is ready to sell and buy another home. Sure, it was a lot of work to get him a mortgage, but over the last 3 years he has referred countless friends, family and co-workers. The time spent way back when was a great investment and one that will keep on giving.
