05/02: Regional Habitat Fundraiser / "That's What She Sang"

This information came to me at my Parish Hill email, since the soccer boys and I were considering Habitat as a service project.  It is a good thing no matter what and worth sharing.

Coming up soon we will be holding our largest annual event for us, at Habitat for Humanity of Eastern Connecticut. It is called the Bid to Build Auction.

We will have live music by “That’s What She Sang”, a live auction of contractor services, food, drinks, a basket raffle, a 50/50 raffle and more. It will be held on Friday, May 2nd at 6:30 pm at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Waterford. As your local store has been interested in the work of Habitat for Humanity in the past we wondered if you might be willing and able to support us be contributing a basket to the raffle, sponsoring the event or attending and inviting others to attend as well.

The support of youth groups and community members, such as yourself, truly help to make Habitat for Humanity a success and allow us to continue to build homes in partnership with families in need right here in Eastern Connecticut.

I have attached information about the various support opportunities. All contributions to support the event (sponsorship/baskets) will receive a thank you letter that can be submitted with your tax documentation. I look forward to hearing back from you and am always available for any questions you may have.
