$1.3 Billion Budget for UConn Is Approved

The school's trustees approved the budget this week.

The University of Connecticut Board of Trustees approved a $1.3 billion budget for the 2015-16 fiscal year on Wednesday.

The budget, which covers for the main campus in Storrs and five regional campuses, includes the previously approved tuition increase of 6.75 percent to $25,500 a year for an in-state undergraduate student, according to WTIC.

The trustees also approved a new budget of $1 billion for the UConn Health Center.
