Willington Day Celebration
When: Saturday May 28, 2016 from 11-3 p.m and the Fishing Derby will be at Thompson’s pond (Rt 320) from 4-5:30 p.m.

Willington Day offers a ton of fun-filled activities for the entire family. Admission is free and most activities are free or are a minimal fee. There is something for everyone including roaming train rides, face painting, bounce house, dunk tank, sand art, cotton candy, mobile slot car track races, frog jumping and pizza eating contests, wiffle ball tournaments, tug-of-war competition, horseshoe competition, basketball shot-a-thon and a variety of yummy foods!
Before the Willington Day celebration, the Willington PTA will be hosting a 5k and kid’s fun runs. The 5k starts at 8:30am with the awards ceremony at 9:45am, and the kid’s fun runs are at 10:30am (1/2 mile) and 11:00am (1 mile).
