4 Easter Night Incidents in 60 Minutes Keep Mansfield Firefighters Busy

Wires were seemingly down everywhere in Mansfield on Sunday night.

MANSFIELD, CT β€” Firefighters had to content with four incidents of downed wires in an hour on Easter night.

Just before 9 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responding to a Separatist Road near Hunting Lodge Road and then near 560 Chaffeville Road for a tree and wires down, according to Tolland County 911.

Just before 8 p.m., firefighters responded to Route 32, just south of the Route 44 interchange and then on North Eagleville Road for incidents that included a downed utility pole, according to Tolland County 911.

By 10, all but one home had power back, Eversource Energy said.
