4 Students Injured In 2 Collisions On UConn's Horsebarn Hill
A popular sledding hill at UConn turned into an accident scene Tuesday.

STORRS, CT β Snowy celebrations at a popular seeding venue at the University of Connecticut turned into four students getting hurt in collisions Tuesday.
Just before 5 p.m., UConn emergency crews were called to Horsebarn Hill after receiving a report that two students had collided while sledding. While providing care to the students, they were notified of a second collision nearby that resulted in injuries to two other students, UConn spokeswoman Stephanie Reitz said.
The injuries were not considered life-threatening or "permanently debilitating," and consisted mostly of head, back, and leg pain, Reitz said. Three students were transported by ambulance to Windham Hospital, and one was transported to Hartford Hospital, she said.
