90 MPH Ride on Route 32 in Mansfield Leads to Charges
A driver is facing a number of charges after traveling at 90 mph on a Mansfield Road.

MANSFIELD, CT — A Willimantic woman has been charged with reckless driving and drunken driving after a 90 mph escapade on Route 32, state police said.
The incident involving 26-year-old Regina Riddell took place at 2:34 a.m. She was traveling at 90 mph on the wrong side of the road, lost control of her car, and wound up in a yard at the intersection of Route 32 and Coventry Road, according to an arrest report.
She was also cited for several traffic violations after failing sobriety tests, state police said. She initially blamed a medical issue on the crash, according to a report.

Riddell was booked on a $10,000 bond and is due in court on July 14, according to a report.
