COVENTRY, CT — A Coventry man already under fire for his involvement with an unlicensed transportation service, was served another warrant, this time accusing him of ripping off a Tolland business that employed him, state police records show.

The latest warrant shows that Mitch Kloter, 26, has been charged with 19 counts of charging less than $500 on a revoked payment card, along with a single count of fifth-degree larceny.

According to a warrant, on Nov. 17, Troop C received a complaint from the owner of a landscaping company that an employee — Kloter — was using a company card for unauthorized purchases.

The purchases ranged from personal meals to pit stops at convenience stores to a mobile phone bill to two bottles of soda at a casino vending machine, according to a warrant.

Also on May 1, Kloter was arrested on warrants connected to an investigation into a side endeavor of Kloter's — Eastern Transportation and rentals.

Kloter, who advertised on Facebook, is accused of improper service after taking pre-payments on airport trips. He has eight related active cases, judicial system records show.

The company has also been flagged by the Better Business Bureau
