NORTH FRANKLIN, CT — A Route 32 outpost in eastern Connecticut has sold a big CT Lottery winner.

A Norwich resident has claimed a $25,000 prize in the Connecticut Lottery's $250,000 CA$HWORD 2nd EDITION scratch game.

According to the Connecticut Lottery, the winning ticket was claimed July 23. The ticket was purchased at the 7-Eleven located at 15 Route 32, North Franklin.

The Connecticut Lottery did not release the winner's name.

The $250,000 CA$HWORD 2nd EDITION game features a $10 scratch ticket with a top prize of $250,000, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
