Mansfield Firefighter Touted For Heroics While On Vacation

MANSFIELD, CT — A Mansfield Firefighter is being hailed as a hero after his actions while on vacation.

"The MFD is proud to acknowledge the brave actions of Firefigher Dylan Vincent," Department officials said.

While off-duty and on vacation with his family, Vincent and his cousin came upon a house fire in Scarborough, Maine.

"These dedicated professionals acted quickly, entered the home, alerted the occupants, and guided them to safety," fiee officialsa said. "The MFD commends this quick and selfless action of helping others."
