UConn leads the all-time series 8-1. The Huskies and Tigers last met on Nov. 20, 2016.

The doubleheader will also include Virginia against Kentucky. Game times and ESPN television assignments will be announced later.

Tickets for the Dec. 20 event will go on sale this fall. Fans can register for presale access through the event's website.

The LSU game adds to what is shaping up to be one of the nation's toughest non-conference schedules for the defending national champion Huskies. UConn has announced games against seven teams ranked in ESPN's Way-Too-Early Top 25 for the 2026-27 season: No. 1 South Carolina, No. 3 Duke, No. 4 Michigan, No. 6 Iowa, No. 7 Louisville, No. 10 LSU and No. 21 Maryland. The Huskies, ranked No. 2 in the preseason poll, will also play No. 8 Texas in an exhibition game.

UConn's conference schedule in the Big East has not yet been announced.
